Localization

What is Localization?
Localization is the process of translating Web sites or computer software for specific international markets. For instance, the version of Windows 2000^® that ships in the USA is not the same as the one that ships in England or China. Product localization includes the translation of the user interface, resizing of dialog boxes to fix layout differences, the re-evaluation of graphics and content to fit the local culture, and thorough testing of the the final product to insure top quality. Often, localization is the key ingredient in assuring a successful product launch in a foreign market.
